GeekyBee Ltd (Company No. 12007302) (“GeekyBee”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a digital solutions provider delivering services including web development, AI and automation systems, immersive technologies (VR/AR), IT services, platform management, marketing, SEO, voice solutions, and data compliance services.

Depending on the service provided, GeekyBee may act as either:

Where GeekyBee acts as a Data Processor, the relevant client remains the Data Controller and is responsible for determining the lawful basis and purposes of processing.

However, due to the nature of AI systems, voice services, automation tools, immersive platforms, and website or content analysis, such data may occasionally be processed incidentally where it is included in user inputs, communications, websites, or third-party content.

  • Where this occurs, such data is processed only to the extent technically necessary to provide the relevant service, in accordance with applicable law, and subject to appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.

7) How and why we use your personal data

We use personal data for the purposes set out below. In each case, processing is carried out only where a valid lawful basis applies under UK data protection law.

GeekyBee does not carry out solely automated decision-making that produces legal effects or similarly significant impacts on individuals within the meaning of Article 22 of the UK GDPR.

AI-assisted outputs, classifications, summaries, and recommendations generated by GeekyBee systems are analytical and informational in nature and require human interpretation. Responsibility for decisions, actions, and outcomes arising from the use of GeekyBee services remains with the user or client.

Where AI technologies are used, we take steps to ensure appropriate transparency, fairness, data minimisation, accuracy, and security, and to apply suitable technical and organisational safeguards.

10) Cookies & Tracking Technologies

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by a website or platform to help remember information about your visit, such as preferences, login status, or how you use the service.

GeekyBee uses cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels, local storage, and analytics tools) to:

These providers act either as data processors or independent controllers, depending on the service provided. Where they act as processors, they are contractually required to process personal data only on GeekyBee’s instructions and to maintain appropriate security and confidentiality obligations.

Some GeekyBee products and services operate on defined or short-term data retention models. Where a service specifies a particular retention period, that service-specific privacy notice or terms will apply.
